Netball WC: She Cranes Edge Scotland in a tight Affair

The national netball team, the She cranes has confirmed a place in the next stage of the ongoing World Netball championship in Liverpool, England after edging Scotland in a tight affair this afternoon.

Having lost the first match to the hosts, England Roses, the She Cranes were motivated by game 2’s walk over over Samoa that brightened their chances of qualifying out of the group stages.

Scotland trailed in mist of the quarters, for the game to end by 52 – 43 in favor of Uganda.

The she cranes now qualify to the next stage as the second placed, behind England that won all their 3 games in group A.
England thumped Samoa by 90-24 earlier today.
