Kampala Queens Invincible Year: The Numbers Behind an Unbeaten 12 months

The FUFA Women Super League table leaders Kampala Queens FC have clocked 365 days of a calendar year unbeaten. Their 3-1 win over the weekend against Asubo Gafford ladies meant they have gone a full year of not registering a loss in a competitive game.
On the anniversary of Hamza Lutalo’s side last defeat, here is a look at the numbers behind the milestone.

The Kabojja based side last lost a game last year on Wednesday 9th February 2022 as they faced off Kawempe Muslim ladies FC in an encounter which saw kawempe thump the Queens 2-0 courtesy of Sharon Nadunga’s brace in the previous season’s league opener at IUIU-Kabojja.

The women football powerhouse went on to play 27 matches managing to tally 21 wins, 6 draws, 46 goals for, 14 goals against and keeping 17 clean sheets.
From the 21 wins, Kampala Queens has a 77.8 percent winning rate, 22.2 percent drawing rate and 2.5 points earned per game.
The team racked up 46 goals or 1.7 goals per game and conceded just 0.5 goals per game in the 14 goals against.

Past halfway the 2022/23 campaign,the Kabojja outfit sit on top of the log with maximum 30 points in 10 games as they’re eyeing for their maiden league championship with 11 points lead advantage over second placed Uganda Martyrs H/S WFC.

In their last outing, they edged Asubo Gafford 3-1 away from home and they will return in action as they host defending champions She Corporate FC on Sunday 12th February at IUIU-Kabojja in their next league fixture. Kampala Queens won this exact fixture 2-1 in September earlier this season.
