Coach Basena Summons Cranes Squad for Egypt Tie, makes surprise call ups. Basena said that the door remains open for not only Luwagga but every Ugandan player who is good enough and would love to play for for the Cranes.
Having successfully completed the 50% task on his list after qualifying for the 2018 CHAN Tournament, Uganda Cranes Interim coach Moses Basena has today morning addressed the media at FUFA House in Mengo where he announced the full squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Qualifier against Egypt to be played on 31st Aug at Namboole stadium.
In the summoned squad, Basena has almost kept the boys that helped the team in the CHAN qualifiers. Among the surprise call ups, Self-exiled Skillful player Kizito Luwagga earned a recall to the squad having made it clear that he  would love to return to the fold any time the Serbian ‘Micho’ Quits the Cranes job.
Geoffrey Baba KIZITO who plays in Vietnam was also another surprise call up having had a good run not being called for national duty
