Kenyan Singer Jimmy Gait’s Insta, FB Accounts Hacked & Wiped Clean

As cases of Cyber crimes are at a high rate of increase in East Africa, it has proven to be a real challenge especially to celebrities and politicians that keep on losing their accounts to Black-hat hackers.

Latest from the Kenyan Gospel Singer, Jimmy Gait is about his social media accounts being hacked recently.

These merciless cyber criminals not only denied Jimmy Gait access to his own created Facebook and Instagram Pages, but they also wiped them clean, leaving either no photo, video or any kind of post on them.

The singer’s Instagram handle reportedly had over 46,000 followers.

This is not the first time for hackers to gain unauthorized access to social media accounts of big entertainers in Kenya. The likes of Vera Sidika, Huddah Monroe, Pierra Makena among others have all lost their Instagram accounts to hackers in the past. All of these failed to recover their accounts and had to start afresh through creating new ones.
