Ex VP Ssekandi bedridden in Dubai

Reports from Dubai indicate that former Vice President of Uganda H.E Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi has been admitted at Rashid Hospital, Dubai following an abrupt illness that made him unconscious.

Ssekandi according to family sources was on his way to his US based home at the time he suffered the ailment.

No clear details regarding the exact ailment have been revealed by press time.

Ssekandi served as the Vice President from 2011-2021 when he was reshuffled on his own will. It is said the Masaka strongman of Catholic belief requested that he is retired away from limelight politics so he can concentrate on his family.
