Bobi Wine’s bodyguard Arrested for Punching Police Officer

Honorable Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine’s bodyguard has been arrested for punching police officer as his boss remains wanted. Eddie Mutwe, a renowned barber in Kampala was taken into custody after being tracked down by officers from Uganda police after he was allegedly shown on video assaulting one of their own and later snatching handcuffs before taking off with them.

The body guard Eddie Mutwe was trying to prevent the police from arresting his boss Bobi Wine for participating in what had been described as an illegal protest by the authorities.

The Uganda Police says Eddie Mutwe will be charged with assaulting an officer on duty and illegal possession of police ware. He will also be charged with the obstruction of justice.

Meanwhile Bobi Wine remains wanted by the police for evading arrest according to the police spokesperson
