Veteran radio presenter and dramatist, Meddie Nsereko Thursday said bye to bachelorhood after wedding the love of his life, Sarah Mirembe.
Clad in a white shirt with a red bow tie, black suit an islamic cap, Nsereko arrived at KIbuli Mosques with an entourage that included the Nabagereka of Buganda, Sylivia Nagginda, Vice President Edward Ssekandi, Prince Kassim Nakibinge among other bigwigs.
The two tied the knot at 1pm at with Kibuli Supreme Mufti, Sheikh Zubair Kayango blessing their marriage.
After the wedding, the newlyweds headed to Bulange Mengo, where the studios of CBS radio, from where Nsereko works are housed.
Nsereko in a convoy of over 20 cars continously waved to his fans who were eagerly waiting along the road until when he got to Bulange from wher he was joined by his workmates.
The group later on headed to Hotel Africana for his receiption.
The hotel had several artists, dramatists and musicians inattendence with the notables being Kato Lubwama, John Ssegawa, Mowzey Radio, Dr Hilderman, Mesach Ssemakula among others.
Their wedding follows their earlier introduction this month at Sarah’s parent’s home in Kawanda Wakiso district.
The 50 plus aged is currently a radio presenter at CBS radio, where he has worked for the past 16 years. He was also among the founding members of Bakayimbira Dramaactors and worked with them for a period of over 25 years before settling at his CBS work.
