Celebrated Presenter Crystal Newman Quits Sanyu FM

It’s been eighteen (18) years with presenter Crystal Newman Kavulu’s voice being heard on Sanyu FM radio, but now it’s no more. She has quit the radio station.

Ugandan buzz has learnt that the celebrated media personality officially resigned her job at Crane Chambers based radio station recently. She has been hosting the Sanyu Drive show and the Saturday afternoon countdown at one of the top radio stations presenting in the queen’s language aongside being a television host and part time corporate master of ceremonies.

The soft voiced presenter announced her decision on social media last friday, telling her fans that it would be her last day of presenting at the radio station (Sanyu FM) and looking forward to starting a new chapter of her life.

“Today will be my last day presenting on #SanyuDrive on @882SanyuFM. After 18 years, I have decided to make a change and start a new chapter. I have shared half my life on air with you,” She tweeted before later revealing how it wasn’t an easy decision to make but had to make it.

Later alone, the Sanyu FM management through the station’s social media platforms hinted on her departure by bidding a farewell to her, posting;

“Thank you for great 18 years.”

Many of Crystal Newman’s fans loved her soothing voice because it made most of them endure Kampala traffic jam. She now joins Bryan Kella McKenzie, Mark Kwikiriza among others as personalities who have quit radio for other ventures.
