Uganda to Drop “Pearl of Africa” Brand Name

Uganda is to drop “Pearl of Africa” tagline and adopt “Small Africa” in order to promote Tourism.
This stunning suggestion came from the recently hired American University Students on Research who sat down Ugandan Experts, Ministers, Academia and Industry players that actually Pearl of Africa is too big to be imposed on a small Country like Uganda.
The Uganda Tourism Board whose mandate is to promote Tourism in Uganda and Outside it has still failed to make a breakthrough and are always on a hiring spree to get experts whose role has been limited to confusing them further.
In 2016, Uganda hired different PR firms who suggested a tagline to promote Uganda as “Your Uganda” which was rejected by industry players who realised its a lousy statement and can only be used when terming to our lousy Political Group as Your Uganda.
The billions of Money spent on the search for a brand has yielded with “Small Africa”.
