”Clever J Abandoned Mother On Death-bed” Says Biological Father

Singer Clever J, real names Muwonge Gerrald, has been in news for the past weeks and months. The last two weeks saw the faded musician reconciling with his family (Mayanja Family) he had abandoned for so long.

Journalists have today paid a visit to the singer’s biological father, Mr John Bukenya – a brother to Mr Gerrald Mayanja (Jose Chameleone’s father), for an exclusive interview about his son. This is when Clever J’s father revealed some of the shocking chronicles within their family that we didn’t know before.

Firstly, the father said that he has spent 4 years without seeing Clever J eye to eye and that they only talk on phone. He also revealed a shocking and unspeakable news that Clever J’s mother (Late Rosemary Nalujja) died in 2017 but the ‘ensi yaleeta’ singer refused to go visit his mother while on the deathbed neither did he attend the burial.

The father said that he used to call Clever J and begged him to go visit his mother while she was in critical condition but the singer didn’t show up even on her burial, a thing which he says still baffles him. Clever J’s father claims that whenever he called his son to inform him about his mother’s situation the musician could reply that he is very far and ends up not coming till her death and burial.

On why the ”manzi wanani” singer abandoned his siblings (the Mayanja family), the father said that this happened because one day his son was imprisoned for claims that he had stolen some musical instruments at the show he was to perform at.

So when he tried to seek for assistance from his siblings they neglected him and instead called him a thief. The father continued saying that Clever J had also heard some circulating rumors from Jose Chameleone’s close colleagues that the ”baliwa” singer bewitched him, thus hating the whole family.
